Nomos takes its name from the Greek word for “law,” echoing a profound moment at the very beginning of revelation, when Waraqah ibn Nawfal told the Prophet ﷺ, “This is the Nāmūs … whom Allah sent to Moses.” The term nāmūs itself is linked back to nomos, and for us, it represents a higher standard: private equity grounded in sacred law. That’s why our approach is unleveraged by design and built to avoid riba altogether; no interest-bearing debt and no compromises. We pair principled structuring with institutional discipline and hands-on value creation so investors don’t have to choose between faithfulness and performance. We aim to compete with, and out-execute, conventional alternatives. And we keep it simple, with straightforward, transparent fee structures that are clearly disclosed and aligned with investor outcomes.
